Former Tennessee redshirt freshman offensive lineman William Satterwhite signed with LSU, according to Pete Nakos of On3. The former Vol will play for LSU first-year head coach Lane Kiffin.

Satterwhite is the second Tennessee transfer to commit to Kiffin and the Tigers. Former Tennessee defensive lineman Jordan Ross also committed to LSU.

Kiffin served as Tennessee’s head coach in 2009, compiling a 7-6 (4-4 SEC) record. He was also head coach at Ole Miss in the SEC from 2020-25, guiding the Rebels to a 55–19 (32–17 SEC) record.

Satterwhite appeared in 11 games for the Vols from 2024-25. He earned a redshirt as a freshman in 2024, appearing in contests against Chattanooga, North Carolina State and Kent State.

In 2025, the 6-foot-3, 305-pound offensive lineman played in games against Syracuse, East Tennessee State, UAB, Arkansas, Alabama, Kentucky, New Mexico State and Florida.

He is from Archbishop Hoban High School in Akron, Ohio.

The NCAA transfer portal will close on Jan. 16 after opening on Jan. 2.
