See Brevard County's high school football live scoreboard, Week 2

After a busy opening week, Week 2 of the high school football season kicks off on Aug. 28 with a 5 p.m. tilt as Calvary Chapel plays at Eastland Christian in SSAA 8-man before all the other games kick off at 7 p.m.

The Week 2 slate is headlined by two potent offenses squaring off in Merritt Island at Melbourne. The Mustangs scored 44 points in a road win at Cocoa while Melbourne dropped 35 points in a road win at Heritage. Both teams combined for 9 rushing touchdowns.

Other matchups to watch include Titusville at Holy Trinity after both teams won their season opener at home. Melbourne Central Catholic, winners over Victory Christian Academy in Week 1, hosts Benjamin in another game pitting Class 1A state playoff teams from a year ago.
