South Carolina football is taking it to No. 3 Texas A&M. With a scoop-and-score fumble recovery for a touchdown in the first quarter, the Gamecocks hold a 17-3 lead on Nov. 15 at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas.

On the last play of the first quarter, EDGE Dylan Stewart came off the right side of the line untouched and hit Texas A&M quarterback Marcel Reed. Reed threw a backwards pass in an attempt to avoid a sack, and defensive lineman Nick Barrett was there to scoop the ball and rumble into the end zone.

The score set a program record for non-offensive touchdowns in a season with seven.

The Gamecocks (3-6, 1-6 SEC) hold a two-score lead over the Aggies (9-0, 5-0), but one person on the South Carolina sideline isn't surprised.

"We're not surprised," South Carolina coach Shane Beamer said in an interview on ESPN between quarters. "We beat this team by 24 points last year."
