See which Greater Lansing football players were selected MHSFCA all-state

State champions DeWitt and Portland St. Patrick each had multiple players recognized on the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association all-state teams.

Division 3 state champion DeWitt had five players honored and 8-man Division 2 champ Portland St. Patrick had three players recognized to lead the selections from Greater Lansing on the recently released all-state teams. 

Central Michigan signee Traverse Moore led the selections for DeWitt and was recognized as a running back. The Panthers also had offensive lineman Drew Rumsey, tight end Jacob Schorfhaar, defensive lineman Andrew Nehf and defensive back Jadon Bender selected all-state by the MHSFCA.

Portland St. Patrick had Brady Leonard honored as a defensive back and linebacker Augustus Teachworth and offensive lineman Aiden Mosser each named all-state.

Portland, Ovid-Elsie and Pewamo-Westphalia were the other programs with multiple players honored, while Owosso, Haslett, Williamston, Fowler, Ithaca, Leslie and Morrice each had players recognized.

Portland running back Kayden Dickerson and linebacker Brad Meyers were selected all-state in Division 4. Ovid-Elsie had offensive lineman Braxton O'Bryant and defensive back Owen Long named all-state in Division 6.

Pewamo-Westphalia had three player recognized in Division 7 with defensive back Ty Thelen, tight end Trent Piggott and linebacker Luke Paxton being honored.

The area's other all-state included Eastern Michigan signee and Owosso offensive lineman Carter Miculka in Division 3, Kansas signee and Haslett senior running back Kory Amachree and Williamston senior defensive back Tommy Pratt in Division 4, Leslie junior receiver Braydin Johnson and Ithaca junior offensive lineman Ben Munro in Division 7, Fowler senior linebacker Trevor Spicer in Division 8 and Morrice defensive lineman Oliver Long in 8-man Division 2.
