Notre Dame football’s season has come to an end, after not making the College Football Playoff and opting out of playing in a bowl game, but there will still be another game played in the Blue and Gold for tight end Eli Raridon.

On Monday it as announced that the senior tight end will suit up one last time wearing Irish colors in the East-West Shrine Bowl, as he’ll try to enhance his draft status before really preparing for the biggest interview of his life, the NFL combine.

Last year Notre Dame saw two players in Mitchell Evans and Jordan Clark on hand, but ultimately didn’t see either suiting up due to how deep the Irish went in the College Football Playoff. That clearly won’t be an issue this season, as we full expect that Raridon will be a full participant.

Even though Evans didn’t play, it still helped his draft stock, and while Clark went undrafted, he was signed but the New York Jets and has been on the active roster this season. Hopefully Raridon has the same success coming out of the game as his two teammates did last season.
