Saturday Night Live was new this weekend, with Josh O’Connor of Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery taking on hosting duties for the first time. O’Connor was joined by musical guest Lily Allen for the episode.

Things kicked off with James Austin Johnson doing President Donald Trump fielding questions on Air Force One with Karoline Leavitt (Ashley Padilla). During one rambling answer, Johnson made a reference to the recent cheating scandal and subsequent firing involving Michigan football head coach Sherrone Moore.

“Pretty amazing I can openly simp over my young, blond subordinate,” Johnson said of his press secretary. “It’s giving Michigan Football coach.”

Saturday Night Live returns December 20 with host Ariana Grande and musical guest Cher.
