Usually, when Michigan football wins or loses a game, the reaction in the immediate aftermath surrounds the game that was just played. But, when the biggest rivalry in sports looms, the page gets turned rather quickly.
The Wolverines put together their most complete game in Big Ten play, beating Maryland in College Park, 45-20, but with Ohio State coming to Ann Arbor next week, the happenings against the Terps are but a mere footnote. At least in the eyes of the media and notable X (formerly Twitter) personalities.
With that in mind, here are the best reactions after the game before The Game.

This dude just stepped up and ran it 20 times for 100 yards and 3 TD’s when the team needed him most. That’s big time stuff.

If you want to know why Michigan was a semifinalist for the Joe Moore Award, it has rushed for 224 yards today with RBs No. 3, 4, 5 and 6 on the depth chart.

It often wasn’t pretty. In fact, it was often very frustrating to watch. But in the end, after 11 games a young Michigan team made it to where we want to be at the start of every season — playing The Game with all our season goals on the line.
