Former Nebraska football legend Ndamukong Suh was officially announced as a member of the College Football Hall of Fame class of 2026.
Suh was one of the program's most dominant players. He played for the Huskers from 2005 to 2009 and recorded 215 tackles. He had 57 tackles for loss, which ranks second in school history. He had 24 sacks and 15 pass breakups. This was a record for a defensive lineman at Nebraska.
The 2009 season was the best one of his career. He started in 14 games and recorded 85 tackles. This included 24 tackles for loss. He also had 12 sacks and can pass breakups in addition to 26 quarterback hurries.
He was a finalist for the 2009 Heisman trophy and was the first defensive player named the Associated Press College Football Player of the Year. It’s safe to say that this accolade is well-deserved.
