Because soon it will be Saturday, we look back at how Iowa State outlasted Oklahoma in a 37-30 thriller, amassing 417 total yards (to Oklahoma’s 414 yards) in a battle under the lights at Jack Trice Stadium. Brock Purdy was the engine of the offense, throwing for 254 yards – including a massive 65-yard touchdown strike to Xavier Hutchinson – while also finding the end zone himself on a 2-yard scoring run.

Running back Breece Hall contributed a dominant 139 yards on the ground and two rushing touchdowns, including the decisive 8-yard score late in the fourth quarter that secured the Cyclone victory. Kene Nwangwu provided a highlight of his own with an electric 85-yard kickoff return that ignited the comeback effort and set up a crucial touchdown drive.
