The Oklahoma Sooners dropped one spot in the latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll this week despite their series win over the LSU Tigers. Oklahoma switched spots with Florida State after the Seminoles pulled off a series win over then No. 10 NC State.

The Sooners are among six SEC teams in the top 10. Oklahoma's next opponent, the Texas Longhorns, sit at No. 2 in the nation. This year's Red River Series will take place in Austin. If the Sooners can pull off the series win, they'll get a huge boost in the rankings.

Elsewhere in the SEC, Mississippi State is No. 4, Auburn is No. 5, and Arkansas is No. 6, and the Georgia Bulldogs come in at No. 7. Including Oklahoma at No. 9, there are 12 SEC teams in the top 25 in this week's coaches poll.

UCLA is in the No. 1 spot, taking 29 of a possible 30 first-place votes and No. 10 USC garnering the other first-place vote.
