Soul Bowl postponed, rescheduled for Nov. 8 at Blue Wahoos Stadium

The 34^th annual Soul Bowl youth football event, scheduled for Saturday at Blue Wahoos Stadium, has been postponed and rescheduled for Sunday, November 8.

Organizers of the Soul Bowl made the decision Thursday to postpone the game due to the inclement weather forecast this weekend.

When played on Nov. 8, the full day of youth football will feature six age division games pairing the SYSA Tigers against the Bellview Packers – the first time Bellview has competed in the Soul Bowl.

The first game will begin before 8 a.m. and the Soul Bowl will conclude with the 14-under age division in late afternoon.

The Soul Bowl will follow the special anniversary of the Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show on Nov. 6-7 at Naval Air Station-Pensacola. Organizers did not want the games to conflict with the Blue Angels show and decided on the Sunday date for the Soul Bowl.

No outside food or beverages, pets, or chairs will be allowed per the ground rules of Blue Wahoos Stadium, which operates under a “clear bag” policy. Tickets are available at bluewahoos.com.
