South Carolina announces suspension update on Dylan Stewart

South Carolina’s defense is getting a big boost for Saturday’s game against No. 16 Florida.

According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, star edge rusher Dylan Stewart will play against Florida. This follows South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer’s indefinite suspension of Stewart after he threw a punch in a 49-18 loss to Alabama on Sept. 26; he also drew multiple penalties during the game.

Stewart sat out last Saturday’s 35-34 overtime loss to Kentucky, but appears to be back in Beamer’s good graces.
