COLUMBIA — The college football transfer portal opens Jan. 2, and the South Carolina Gamecocks are in need of roster changes for the 2026 season.

South Carolina football finished with its worst record under coach Shane Beamer in 2025.

The Gamecocks went 4-8 and 1-7 in SEC play, the fewest wins in a season for Beamer, whose previous worst was the 5-7 year in 2023.

Now the focus will shift to the roster and transfer portal, which has a new window this year. The portal will only be open Jan. 2-16.

The Greenville News is tracking all of South Carolina’s transfer moves for the 2026 season. See the latest updates below.
