Kenny Dillingham has casted his net for more than just skill players for Arizona State in the NCAA transfer portal.
He is shopping for physicality on both lines of scrimmage and is getting it.
According to Chris Karpman of 247Sports, the Sun Devils landed offensive lineman Tana Alo-Tupuloa.
The former Georgia Tech standout has played 455 career snaps as a true sophomore center. He will compete for ASU’s starting job in the spring at 6-foot-2 and 325 pounds. Arizona State brought in muscle from the junior college ranks on defense, acquire defensive tackle Hyrum Vaeono from Butler Community College. The 6-foot-3, 285-pounder is a native of Lawrence, Kan.
He played in seven games last season at Butler CC — totaling 18 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and 4.5 tackles for loss.
Dillingham added a linebacker from Colorado State in Owen Long via Pete Nakos and Steve Wiltfong on On3.
Long led everyone in college football for total tackles (151) as a sophomore. He collected five tackles for loss, two sacks, five pass breakups, and a forced fumble in 2025 for the Rams. Dillingham found an anchor for his offensive line, a nice piece for his defensive line, and a tackling machine to lead his defense. He rounded things out by locating a thumper in the secondary.
Lyrik Rawls, a safety, chose ASU as his transfer destination.
The former Kansas star finished second on its defense in tackles with 73 last year, including a team-high 57 solo stops.
He lead the team in pass breakups (seven), while having three forced fumbles and an interception. Rawls will serve as an enforcer on the back end of the Sun Devils’ defense.
