Head coach Fran Brown and the Syracuse Orange are staying busy on the recruiting trail, with the team securing its ninth commitment of the 2027 recruiting cycle.

Quarterback Charlie Foulke IV — a three-star prospect from Glassboro, NJ — is committing to the Orange, he announced on social media. Foulke plays for St. Joseph’s Prep in Philly, the same high school that produced Kyle McCord.

Syracuse got him over a handful of notable programs. Foulke chose the Orange over offers from Georgia, Miami (FL), North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Maryland, and a few other schools.

247Sports, On3, and ESPN all have Foulke as a three-star in the class of 2027. He ranks No. 33 among all New Jersey 2027 prospects, according to 247Sports.

Foulke — who is six-foot-one and 170 lbs. — is also the third top-35 recruit from New Jersey in the class of 2027 to commit to the Orange, joining offensive lineman Connor Long and safety Travis Miles, both of whom are three-stars.

Foulke is also the second 2027 QB to commit to the Orange, along with three-star Justin Dixon.

Syracuse’s 2027 recruiting class is now up to nine players (all three-star prospects). It is ranked No. 17 overall by 247Sports and No. 38 by On3.
