This past Saturday, Syracuse football rolled to a 66-3 victory over New Hampshire. One of the most impressive individual performances came from freshman running back Shavane Anderson Jr. In his college debut, Anderson posted 10 carries for 102 yards, and three touchdowns, making Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) history not seen in at least the last 20 years.
College football offseasons are always filled with changes, as the transfer portal allows for a ton of mobility. But despite the possibility of movement at the conclusion of this season, Orange fans are hopeful that both Anderson and 2027 recruit Elijah "Big Ticket" Kimble are sharing the carries next season.
Kimble, a senior from Buffalo, N.Y. began his senior high school season this past weekend.
How did Syracuse commit Elijah Kimble perform in game one of his senior season?
Kimble lead his team (Canisius HS) to a 41-14 win. On just 14 carries, the Orange commit posted 231 yards rushing yards and four touchdowns. One of his touchdowns was a 76-yarder. He is now third all-time on the Western New York rushing list.
