The NCAA transfer portal will be held Jan. 2 through Jan. 16, 2026. An eighth Tennessee football student-athlete intends to enter the transfer portal.

Offensive lineman Trevor Duncan announced he intends to transfer from the Vols.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of the University of Tennessee’s football program and thankful tfor the coaches, teammates and staff who supported my development on and off the field,” Duncan announced. “After much thought, I have decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal. I am now open to exploring new opportunities and excited to find the best fit moving forward.”

The 6-foot-6, 300-pound Duncan was listed as a redshirt sophomore offensive lineman on Tennessee’s spring football roster. He was not listed on the Vols’ fall roster during the 2025 regular season.

Duncan appeared in games against UConn in 2023 and Kent State during the 2024 season. He played three snaps at defensive tackle against UConn. Duncan moved to offensive line during 2024 spring practices.
