Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class. The Vols offered a scholarship to four-star cornerback Raheem Floyd.

“After a great conversation, I am blessed to receive an offer from Tennessee,” Floyd announced.

The 6-foot-2, 170-pound prospect is from East St. Louis High School in East St. Louis, Illinois. Former Tennessee offensive lineman Javontez Spraggins also signed with the Vols from East St. Louis.

247Sports ranks Floyd as the No. 18 cornerback in the class and No. 8 player in Illinois.

Missouri was the first school to offer him a scholarship on Jan. 18 during an unofficial visit. Other schools to offer Floyd scholarships include Kent State, Wisconsin, Illinois, Purdue, Indiana, Western Michigan, Toledo, Ole Miss, West Virginia, Miami University, Arizona State, Kentucky, Sacramento State, Western Illinois, Maryland, Michigan State, Cincinnati, Mississippi State, North Carolina, Florida State, Vanderbilt and Michigan.

Tennessee has four commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo and defensive lineman Kadin Fife.
