Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2029 football signing class. The Vols offered a scholarship to four-star defensive lineman ZayQuan Dozier.
“Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee,” Dozier announced.
The 6-foot-4, 265-pound prospect is from Taylor County High School in Butler, Georgia. Rivals ranks him as the No. 1 defensive lineman in the class and No. 2 player in Georgia.
FIU was the first school to offer Dozier a scholarship on Sept. 15, 2025. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Florida State, Georgia, Texas A&M, Georgia Tech and Ole Miss.
The Vols do not have an commitment in their 2029 football recruiting class. Quarterback Kaden Craft is Tennessee's only 2028 commitment.
