Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class. The Vols offered a scholarship to former Georgia Tech wide receiver commit Keyon Standifer on Nov. 28.

“Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee,” Standifer announced.

The 5-foot-9, 170-pound prospect is from Athens Academy in Athens, Georgia. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 101 wide receiver in the class and No. 80 player in Georgia.

Georgia Tech offered Standifer a scholarship on June 16 and he committed to the Yellow Jackets on Sept. 28. He announced his decommitment on Dec. 5 after Yellow Jackets’ offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner accepted the same position at Florida.

Georgia State was the first school to offer Standifer a scholarship on Dec. 28, 2024. Other schools to offer him scholarships include West Virginia, Miami University, Oklahoma, Memphis, Mississippi State, Indiana, Alabama, North Carolina and LSU.

Tennessee has four commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo and defensive lineman Kadin Fife.
