Tennessee football offers No. 1 2028 prospect from Arkansas

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2028 football signing class. The Vols offered a scholarship to three-star wide receiver Braylyn Brown on Thursday.
"After a great conversation with coach Deonte' Cruse, I'm blessed to receive an offer from Vol football," Brown announced.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound prospect is from Joe T. Robinson High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 47 wide receiver in the class and No. 1 player in Arkansas.
Kentucky was the first school to offer Brown a scholarship on Feb. 9, 2025. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Southern Miss, Memphis, Vanderbilt, SMU, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Ole Miss, USF, Texas A&M, Kansas, Arkansas State, Purdue and Missouri.
Tennessee does not have a commitment in its 2028 recruiting class.
The Vols have 18 commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, quarterback Derrick Baker, athlete Jaden Butler, wide receiver KeSean Bowman, defensive back Carter Jamison and defensive back Brandon Leavell, tight end Malik Howard, defensive lineman Christian Mays, cornerback Dylan Haley, linebacker Kenneth Simon II, kicker Ford Fehling, long snapper Sam McKeown, offensive tackle Q’Mari Hudson, athlete Dayon Cooper, safety Marcus Jones, offensive tackle Niko Kampas and running back David Gabriel Georges.
