No. 3 Texas A&M (9-0, 6-0 SEC) is coming off another blowout road win in SEC play after defeating Missouri (6-3, 2-3 SEC) 38-17 on Saturday night, as the Aggies finished their three-game road trip 3-0 with a ton of momentum heading into the final three games of the regular season.

This weekend, the Aggies head back to Kyle Field for the first time in over a month for an early 11:00 a.m. kick off against South Carolina (3-6, 1-6 SEC), which will serve as another challenge for an Aggie defense that continues to struggle against the run, now going against Gamecocks quarterback La’Norris Sellers, who, last season, passed for nearly 250 yards and two touchdowns, combined with 106 rushing yards and a score en route to a 44-20 blowout win that essentially end the Aggies’ season.

On Monday, head coach Mike Elko further discussed Saturday’s road win, praising several players, while providing injury updates for two key starters not named star running back Le’Veon Moss. After missing his fourth game of the season, senior linebacker Scooby Williams, who is dealing with an undisclosed injury, is apparently on track to make his way back to the field.

“Getting better every week and we’ll see how this week goes.”

Senior starting right guard Ar’maj Reed-Adams, who left the game after the first half, is expected to return against the Gamecocks, as Elko briefly stated that “he’s fine,” suggesting his exit was precautionary to prevent a serious injury this late in the season.

Regarding Le’Veon Moss’s eventual return, Elko is not providing an update. Still, the expectation is that the senior will return to the field against Samford or the regular-season finale vs. Texas.

Texas A&M will face South Carolina on Saturday, November 15, at 11:00 a.m., with the game airing on ESPN.
