The College Football Playoff committee released their first top 25 rankings of the 2025 season on Tuesday night. and 8-0 Texas A&M debuted with their highest ranking ever, at No. 3. This matches A&M’s current ranking in the AP Top 25 and the USA Today Coaches Poll.
The Ags are currently at +6000 odds to make the Playoff, according to FanDuel, which is the best odds of any team (though it’s worth noting that Ohio State is not currently listed). Their 8-0 record represents their best start since 1992, and a win this weekend would give A&M their first nine-win regular season since 2012.
