There are several ways outside of the regular season to put out more good tape for scouts. The first way is to make it to the CFP, and another effective way is to accept invitations to any postseason event that makes sense. Any time you can make an impression in front of NFL decision-makers, you should take it, and one Texas A&M Aggie has found the perfect spot to showcase his skill set.
On Monday, it was announced that senior defensive tackle Albert Regis has accepted his invitation to participate in the East-West Shrine Bowl. Regis was regarded this season as a veteran voice along the line and as someone who helped clog the middle of the trenches. While being part of a talented rotation, he managed to record a career high in tackles (43) and sacks (2) during the regular season.
The East-West Shrine Bowl is the longest-running college all-star football game in the nation. An important part of America’s football tradition, the event gives top college players a chance to display their talents to NFL scouts and a national television audience.
