Texas A&M sophomore RB will return vs. Arkansas on Saturday

Texas A&M coach Mike Elko's third season at the helm is on the brink of a total collapse if the Aggies can't get back on track after consecutive SEC losses to Kentucky at home and LSU on the road. Losing 35-6 to the Tigers was the cherry on top of the worst start under Elko, while starting quarterback Marcel Reed has looked like a shell of himself when compared to his play last season.
It's too fair to say that the Aggies were simply too beat up to compete with LSU, especially with sophomore running back Jamarion Morrow sidelined, as first-year OC Holmon Wiggins, who called an average game, focused too much on Marcel Reed making plays in the pocket instead of sticking with the running game, which was working throughout the first half.
Junior running back Rueben Owens averaged 5.5 yards per carry against LSU's loaded defensive line, which is a good sign moving forward, as Texas A&M's offensive identity needs to start in the trenches and run the ball to set up play-action opportunities for Marcel Reed.
Still, Reed has to hit his high-percentage throws, which is the main reason Texas A&M's offense has failed to score points and complete drives. After missing Saturday's game, the latest injury report revealed that Jamarion Morrow will return this weekend when the Aggies host Arkansas in a must-win game on Saturday night.
However, junior wide receiver Mario Craver was listed as "questionable" with a 50% chance to play, which will be something to monitor over the next three days. Texas A&M's running back room is completely healthy, and with the offensive line improving week to week, expect the running game to be a big part of Saturday's game plan, especially if potentially rainy weather affects both teams.
