Despite a dominating performance against Missouri on the road in Week 11, the College Football Playoff Committee did not move the Texas A&M Aggies up in the rankings on Tuesday night.
The Aggies are still ranked as the No. 3 team in the country via the latest CFP rankings after handling business in Columbia with a 38-17 victory over the Tigers, with just three games remaining in the regular season. A case could certainly have been made for the Aggies to be above Indiana, after the Hoosiers’ lackluster performance at Penn State, but the committee felt their 10-0 record was enough to dismiss Saturday’s near-loss.
Texas A&M can lock its spot in the playoffs if the talented group continues its dominance against South Carolina, Samford and Texas. The Southeastern Conference had eight representatives ranked in the top 25, seven of which are ranked in a position to secure a potential playoff bid.
Here is the full top 25 based on the committee’s second week of rankings for the 2025-2026 season:
- Ohio State Buckeyes (9-0)
- Indiana Hoosiers (10-0)
- Texas A&M Aggies (9-0)
