Texas A&M’s (11-1, 7-1 SEC) offense took a significant step in the right direction under OC Collin Klein, who, despite accepting the job as Kansas State‘s newest head coach this week, served his time well in College Station, and, along with WR coach Holmon Wiggins, deserves a ton of credit for helping transfer wide receiver KC Concepcion reach his full potential.

After two successful seasons at NC State, Concepcion transferred to Texas A&M after watching starting quarterback Marcel Reed throw this offseason, knowing that his NFL future would be cemented after one more season as the No. 1 receiver in an offense that showed signs of greatness going back to last season.

Due to the North Carolina native’s efforts, the Aggies are headed to the College Football Playoff for the first time in program history, as Concepcion ended the 2025 regular season with a team and career high 886 receiving yards and nine touchdowns, 364 punt return yards and two touchdowns, and a rushing touchdown during Texas A&M’s road loss to Texas.

As crazy as it sounds, Concepcion is the first player in Texas A&M history to record a receiving, rushing, and punt return touchdown in a single season for the Aggies. Still, none of this is surprising for those who watched the elite athlete serve as NC State’s best offensive weapon.

Right now, Concepcion is seen as a potential first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, but will likely drop to the second round and become the steal of the draft.
