No. 3 Texas A&M (8-0, 5-0 SEC) will take on No. 22 Missouri (6-2, 2-2 SEC) in Columbia on Saturday afternoon, as both programs are coming off their bye week with everything on the line after the first CFP rankings were released on Tuesday night. For the Aggies, winning a third consecutive SEC road game is the primary focus this week.
However, on Wednesday night, the first SEC Availability Report revealed that Texas A&M will be without senior linebacker Scooby Williams, who returned against LSU after missing two consecutive games, but is now dealing with an unspecified injury that will sideline him on Saturday.
Senior running back Le’Veon Moss will miss his third straight game as he continues to heal from his ankle injury. In contrast, senior safety Bryce Anderson will miss his second consecutive game, likely still dealing with the effects of his head injury that he suffered in Week 3 against Notre Dame. Freshman safety Rashad “Tom Tom” Johnson is also listed as out.
For Missouri, starting quarterback Beau Pribula and backup quarterback Sam Horn are out. At the same time, star tight end Brett Norfleet, who is a consistent matchup problem for most defenses, is listed as questionable. Outside of Pribula and Horn, Norfleet’s status could change heading into Saturday, but if he can’t play, it gives Texas A&M’s defense another clear advantage.
