Texas A&M men's basketball has learned its opponent for the 2026 SEC/ACC Challenge in the second season under head coach Bucky McMillan.

According to reports, the Aggies will host Stanford on Wednesday, December 2, at Reed Arena. Texas A&M holds a 2-1 record in the SEC/ACC Challenge since it was established ahead of the 2023-24 basketball season. The Cardinal finished last year's campaign with a 21-14 overall record and an 11-9 mark in conference play. Meanwhile, McMillan completed his first year at the helm in Bryan-College Station with a 23-11 (11-7 in SEC play) record. The Aggies also advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, where they were eliminated by the No. 2 seed Houston.

Here is every matchup scheduled for this year's SEC/ACC Challenge:

Texas A&M's non-conference schedule is shaping up to be a strong and competitive slate. Here is how the Aggies' Power Five non-conference games are looking so far:

  • Nov. 19 – at TCU
  • Nov. 25 – vs. Virginia/Marqutte/TBD (Battle 4 Atlantis)
  • Nov. 26 – vs. Virginia/Marquette/TBD (Battle 4 Atlantis)
  • Nov. 27 – vs. Xavier/Memphis/Penn State/Wake Forest (Battle 4 Atlantis)
  • Dec. 2 – vs. Stanford (SEC/ACC Challenge)
  • Dec. 12 – vs. Florida State (Houston)
  • TBA – vs. Oklahoma State

After having just one scholarship player on the roster when he was hired last spring, McMillan led the Aggies to historic success. This offseason, he reeled in the No. 18 transfer portal class in college basketball, with elite talent to reload positions of need.
