The Texas Longhorns baseball team remains No. 2 in the country in the latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll. In fact, the top four of the weekly ranking stayed the same with UCLA No. 1 and Georgia Tech and Mississippi State behind the Horns.

The Longhorns had a wild week. Texas lost to Houston on Tuesday, 9-7. But then swept Oklahoma over the Weekend. The Sooners were No. 9 when the weekend began. The Longhorns won Thursday in a 14-0 seven inning run rule domination. Then Texas won two very tight 10 inning games, edging rival OU 4-3 on Friday and 5-4 on Saturday.

There are 10 SEC teams in the Top 25, down one from last week as Ole Miss dropped out. Texas will host Texas State Tuesday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field before heading out on the road this weekend for a three game series at South Carolina.
