Texas wide receiver Parker Livingstone will enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to a report by ESPN’s Pete Thamel. The redshirt freshman led the Longhorns with a 17.8 yards per reception average this season. The Lucas, Texas native also caught 29 passes for 516 yards and six touchdowns.
The surprising part of this announcement is Livingstone is Arch Manning’s roommate and good friend. So it is curious he would still want to leave the 40 Acres before Manning’s tenure is up.
Reportedly, Livingstone just wants more opportunities than he feels he would have at Texas. The hangup apparently has nothing to do with NIL money.
Parker Livingstone is a Longhorn through and through-never been hung up on NIL money. I’m told by multiple sources now that his transfer has zero to do with money and everything to do with opportunity. Texas fans should be ready for some portal fireworks.

Livingstone had three catches for 25 yards in the Longhorns’ 41-27 win over Michigan in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl. The 6-foot-4 wide out was a big target for Manning and made several clutch catches.
The Lovejoy High School product will have three years of eligibility remaining. He was 3-star recruit in the 2024 class for the Longhorns.
Livingstone is the third wide receiver to enter the transfer portal. DeAndre Moore Jr. and Aaron Butler will also leave Austin.
