Texas travels to Athens to take on the Georgia Bulldogs “Between the Hedges.” In fact, tonight’s game could be the most important of the season.

The Longhorns are fully healthy for the first time all season, reporting zero injuries on the official SEC Student-Athlete Availability Report. Indeed, Texas will need all hands on deck to upset the No. 5 Bulldogs.

Texas has struggled on the road all season. Georgia is by far the best SEC team Texas has faced this season and the Bulldogs have had Texas’ number since UT joined the SEC.

Behind the improvement of Texas quarterback Arch Manning, the Longhorns are trending up. The offense has looked much better since the second half of UT’s comeback win at Mississippi State. The defense has looked stout for much of the season, but there have been periods where the unit looks lost, like in the final quarter two weeks ago against Vanderbilt or the Florida game.

Have the Longhorns improved enough to score a huge upset tonight? We’ll see. A Longhorns win would go a long way to getting into the college football playoffs.
