The Red River Rivalry is less than a month away and it might be one of the biggest matchups to date. The Texas Longhorns are currently the No. 1 team in college football after a comeback victory over Ohio State, while No. 21 Oklahoma is looking to beef up its reputation after a tough loss to Michigan.
Texas won the Red River Rivalry game in 2025, 23-6, despite Oklahoma outranking the Longhorns at the time. The Sooners were the No. 6 team before Arch Manning and the No. 19 Texas team had their say. The loss dropped Oklahoma seven spots in the rankings.
