The Wisconsin Badgers have been on a roll in the 2027 recruiting class, as the commitments of in-state twins Hunter and Reece Mallinger on Wednesday brought them up to seven commits in the class.

All seven have been from the state of Wisconsin, as the Badgers have been highly successful with their targets in-state. Wisconsin now has seven of the top 10 players in the state committed to the program, with one currently trending for the Badgers as well. The only two that aren’t committed to the Badgers weren’t targets (or realistic) for the program.

Here’s the full rundown of commits for the Badgers:

TE Korz Loken (four-star)

OL Cole Reiter (four-star)

OL Hunter Mallinger (composite four-star)

EDGE Isaac Miller (three-star)

S Dustin Roach (three-star)

OL Ethan McIntosh (three-star)

OL Reece Mallinger (three-star)

The seven commits have Wisconsin with a top-15 class nationally, as they currently sit at No. 14 in 247Sports’s 2027 recruiting class rankings. Now, it’s very early in the cycle and a lot of top players have yet to come off the board, but it is an impressive start for the Badgers to be reeling in a ton of the top talent in the state.

Wisconsin has gotten a ton of commitments from the offensive line, especially, landing four players at the position already. With a number of targets there still on the board, the Badgers can be a little more picky on what should be the fifth and final commitment at the position, which is a great place to be in.

There’s still a lot of work to do, but we’re seeing some great progress from the Badgers in the 2027 recruiting class early on.
