Whether or not he ends up hoisting the Heisman Trophy in New York in mid-December is unclear, but this much isn't — Jeremiah Smith is the best player in college football.

This weekend, he yet again showed why that's the case.

The Ohio State wide receiver added a few more bullet points to his already ridiculous resume in the Buckeyes' 31-14 win against Iowa on Saturday, Oct. 3, finishing with 11 catches for 206 yards and two touchdowns.

In the process, he set the Ohio State program record for career receptions and career touchdown catches. Earlier this season, he set the Buckeyes' career receiving yardage record. On Saturday, he even earned a shoutout on social media from LeBron James.

It marked the fourth time in five games this season that Smith has finished with at least 150 receiving yards.

Not surprisingly, Smith's outrageous output drew quite the reaction on social media, where people marveled at the junior phenom's latest on-field heroics.

Smith finished the win against Iowa with 11 catches for 206 yards and two touchdowns. Smith finished on the receiving end of 63.6% of quarterback Julian Sayin's 324 passing yards.

This season, Smith has 44 catches for 823 yards and nine touchdowns. Smith leads all FBS players in receiving yards and touchdown catches.
