These are the official GREEN OUT uniforms for Notre Dame Football

We told/warned all of you about two weeks ago… Notre Dame is making a change to its green jerseys for this season.

For the Irish Wear Green game this season against the Stanford Cardinal, Notre Dame is taking off the interlocking ND monogram from the sleeves, and replacing them with the football alternate logo of the leprechaun (a logo designed by a friend of us here at OFD).

From what I saw across all of the online forums was a lot of hesitancy by Notre Dame football fans to accept this change. I get it… traditional look and all of that, but I absolutely love it. Again — it reminds me of the Oregon uniforms with the duck on the sleeves, which is a version of their uniforms that I absolutely love. It’s fun and different — and totally on brand for what Notre Dame is trying to be right now in 2026.
