Three listed for Florida on Thursday's Week 6 SEC Availability Report

Florida football's updated SEC availability report for its homecoming game against the South Carolina Gamecocks was released on Thursday, with three total players listed — one as questionable and two as probable — with safety Bryce Thornton now cleared to play.

Wide receiver Vernell Brown III (knee) remains questionable for Saturday's SEC showdown, while running back London Montgomery (unspecified) was upgraded to probable alongside cornerback Dijon Johnson (ankle). Brown, Florida's second-leading receiver with 17 receptions for 271 yards and two touchdowns, missed the Missouri game with injuries, while Johnson was limited in practice last week and only played three snaps against the Tigers.

"(Brown) looks a lot better," Jon Sumrall said on Wednesday's SEC teleconference. "He did not fully participate in practice today. He did run a little bit more yesterday, so we're cycling. He ran yesterday; today is more of a recovery day and the back end of this week, we'll give him a little bit of a run Thursday and Friday. … He seems really optimistic."

As for South Carolina, the Gamecocks expect four players to miss this weekend's action: defensive back Jalewis Solomon, wide receiver Jayden Sellers, edge defender Kobby Sakyi-Prah and offensive lineman Josiah Thompson. Offensive lineman Carter Miller joins defensive back Quay'sheed Scott, edge defender Julian Walker and defensive lineman Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy as doubtful, while wide receiver Mazeo Bennett Jr. remains listed as questionable.
