The LSU Tigers cruised to victory this past weekend against the Clemson Tigers and will now turn their focus to the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs on Saturday night.

The Tigers are 5-0  all-time against Bulldogs and are heavy favorites once again. Lane Kiffin would be the first to call that the same thing his mentor would: rat poison. This past weekend in Michigan proved that no team can just assume they'll have an easy victory.

Louisiana Tech put up massive numbers this past weekend in their 80-6 victory over the Northwestern State Demons, so they obviously have at least some talent. Here are three playmakers that LSU will need to keep an eye on:

QB Blake Baker

Cue the Spider-Man meme with the Tigers' defensive coordinator and Bulldogs quarterback pointing at each other. Both Bakers had very efficient week 1s, and will now aim to make each other's weekends harder.

The Louisiana Tech junior completed 10 of his 14 passes for 232 yards and three touchdowns in the opening-week game. It was an easy performance, as he could have asked for. He completed 65.8% of his passes last year for 1,251 yards with five touchdowns to three interceptions when he was in for them. 

Baker is a big quarterback at 6-foot-5 and 220 pounds. He has a solid arm and is able to run the Bulldogs' offense well. He saw a little bit of action against LSU last year, going 3-for-8 for 46 yards and a touchdown.

LB Alonzo Jackson Jr.

Jackson is a bit of a boom-or-bust type of defender. He was very productive as a pass rusher last season in limited attempts, picking up 19 pressures in just 50 pass-rush snaps, but he also had a whopping 21.9% missed-tackle rate. That is the type of player that the Tigers might circle on the defensive side of the ball.

The junior had a nice start to this year as a starter at linebacker. Not only did he not miss a tackle in two attempts, but he also came away with an interception in coverage.

WR Jalen Mickens

Baker found Mickens over the middle of the field in between a couple of defenders, and then Mickens showcased the speed that landed him on this list as he flew past a few people on his way to a 75-yard touchdown. He finished this game with three catches for 133 yards and a score through the air with two rushes for 28 yards.

LSU's athletes will certainly be able to keep up with him better than the Demons, but that type of speed is always dangerous if he can find any crevice to fit through. He is a freshman standout with a track background, so Louisiana Tech will certainly be trying to draw something up for him.
