Nebraska football had three players receive All-Big Ten offensive honors. Tight end Luke Lindenneyer, running back Emmett Johnson, and guard Rocco Spindler were announced as the recipients on Thursday.

Lindenmeyer helped bring a spark to the tight end position. He had 28 catches for 360 yards and two touchdowns on the year. His best game came against the Michigan Wolverines, when he caught seven passes for 60 yards on the day.

Johnson was a major component of the Huskers' offense this past season. He recorded 251 carries for 1,451 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on the season. He was rewarded for his play this past season, being a semifinalist for the Maxwell and Doak Walker Awards. He was a dynamic playmaker for the offense, and one of the best seasons in Nebraska football history at the position.

Spindler battled through the season. He played most of the year with a left-hand injury that he suffered against the Minnesota Golden Gophers. He was a key piece of the program's transfer portal haul in January.

These three players certainly contributed in a positive way to what was a roller-coaster season for the program. The impacts were undoubtedly felt in a big way throughout the year.
