With the full college football season kicking off this week, let’s look at the first TNIAAM ACC Football Power Rankings of 2026. We saw a few teams in action in week 0, so let’s get right to it….

  1. Duke
    • Are they the best team? Probably not, but the defending ACC Champs stay at the top until they play a game
  2. Miami
    • Clear favorites to win the ACC in 2026, but we’ll start Miami in a spot they are more familiar with- not #1
  3. SMU
    • will this be the year the Mustangs break through? They’ve been the most impressive ACC newcomer since BC joined twenty years ago
  4. Louisville
    • a question at QB but a lot of talent on the roster. The opener with Ole Miss will be pretty big for the Cardinals and the ACC
  5. Virginia
    • looked pretty impressive in the win over NC State. Can last year’s darlings repeat the magic?
  6. Clemson
    • who stays in their lane on Saturday night- the most basic bitch coach in all of CFB or Dabo? Another big chance for the ACC to swing the narrative in week 1
  7. Pitt
    • is Hentschel going to take another step forward?
  8. Georgia Tech
    • how will the Other Mendoza do? I mean if he leads GT to a National Title then there has to be some crazy multiverse stuff happening
  9. Cal
    • speaking of Mendozas, you have to imagine the Calgorithm was worried that JKS was going to head to Indiana in the portal
  10. Virginia Tech
    • James Franklin wants fans to wear Orange and stay four quarters….is he willing to actually coach four quarters or nah?
  11. Wake Forest
    • the 8-win team no one really talks about
  12. Syracuse
    • Steve Angeli’s got us thinking the Orange could be underrated this fall
  13. NC State
    • what a dud of an opener but never forget that the 1st loss of Stanley Cup Playoffs for Carolina came when Dave Doeren did the intro
  14. UNC
  15. Florida State
    • the most exciting moment of the week for Noles fans was reading that the SEC could possibly kick LSU out
  16. Stanford
    • survived Timmy Chang’s Gang in an opener attended by dozens of students who thought it was a freshman orientation
  17. Boston College
    • this could be the last two months that Bill O’Brien can count on BC basketball to make him look better
