Top 10 Oklahoma Sooners on offense in 2025 via PFF

The Oklahoma Sooners enjoy their final bye week of the season knowing they have everything to play for ahead of a tough three-game stretch to finish the regular season. Oklahoma will challenge for a playoff spot at the end of the year, but with games against Alabama, Missouri, and LSU, the Sooners must continue to prove it every week.

The offense hasn't been great in 2025, but it has been good enough to get Oklahoma to 7-2. It looks like a group that's trending in the right direction heading into the final stretch. It has certainly been better than it was in 2024 when Oklahoma averaged just 24 points per game and finished No. 97 in the nation in scoring. This year, they're No. 65, averaging 28.9 points per game.

The offense has been led by a number of first-year players with the Sooners. Only Xavier Robinson, Febechi Nwaiwu, and Deion Burks were playing roles on offense (when available) for this team a year ago. All of the other key contributors are brand new, along with first-year offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle.

Who have been the most important players on the Sooners' offense in 2025? Here are the 10 highest-graded players according to Pro Football Focus through Week 10.

Minimum Offensive Snaps: 118.6

1. Xavier Robinson, RB

If you were to choose an MVP for the second half of the season thus far, it would probably be Xavier Robinson. He has back-to-back 100-yard games and had 58 yards and a touchdown in Oklahoma's win at South Carolina. Over his last three games, Robinson has 36 carries for 282 yards and four touchdowns. In that span, he's averaging 7.83 yards per carry. If Oklahoma's going to make the playoff, it'll be the Robinson and the run game that gets them there.

2. Isaiah Sategna, WR

Isaiah Sategna is fifth in the SEC with 692 receiving yards and tied for fifth in receptions and touchdowns this season. He's been a great addition from Arkansas and has become the go-to target for quarterback John Mateer. His ability to win quickly on third and medium has helped Oklahoma extend drives in key moments when Mateer goes his way. He'll be critical to Oklahoma's success down the stretch.

3. Tory Blaylock, RB

Even though Robinson has emerged as the lead runner in the Oklahoma offense in recent weeks, that shouldn't overshadow true freshman Tory Blaylock's contribution this season. He had a 100-yard day against South Carolina just a few weeks ago, and if healthy, will continue to be a factor in the Sooners' offense.

4. Jake Maikkula, C

The Oklahoma Sooners offense has been keyed by transfers, and that includes the offensive line, where Jake Maikkula took over at center for Troy Everett and has helped solidify the Sooners' o-line. Among 21 centers in the SEC with at least 154 blocking snaps, Maikkula ranks seventh in the SEC in pass blocking.

5. Luke Baklenko, OT

Oklahoma Sooners offensive lineman Luke Baklenko (78) and Oklahoma Sooners offensive lineman Febechi Nwaiwu (54) wait to line up in the first half of the Red River Rivalry college football game between the University of Oklahoma Sooners and the Texas Longhorn at the Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas, Texas, Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025.

Stanford transfer Luke Baklenkio doesn't get starters' reps, but he's been an important depth tackle for Oklahoma. He has the seventh-highest pass-blocking grade in the SEC among 43 offensive tackles with at least 141 blocking snaps.

6. Michael Fasusi, OT

True freshman offensive tackle Michael Fasusi has experienced some ups and downs, but has overall played well. He's No. 6 in the SEC in run-blocking grade according to Pro Football Focus.

7. John Mateer, QB

Oklahoma quarterback John Mateer (10) points toward the Oklahoma section after a fourth quarter touchdown during a college football game between Tennessee and Oklahoma in Neyland Stadium in Knoxville on Nov. 1, 2025.

Quarterback John Mateer hasn't rediscovered the production he had against teams like Michigan and Auburn earlier in the season. Still, he looked a lot more comfortable in the offense in the Sooners' win over Tennessee last Saturday night. He has 14 total touchdowns and 2,250 total yards heading into Oklahoma's final three games of the season.

8. Jaren Kanak, TE

The Oklahoma Sooners found a little something in Jaren Kanak as a receiving weapon. He's third on the team in receiving yards, which is fourth in the SEC among tight ends, but still hasn't scored a touchdown. It feels like he'll find the end zone at some point this season, and for Oklahoma to get another big road win at Alabama, getting Kanak heavily involved against the Crimson Tide may be a key to the game.

9. Febechi Nwaiwu, G

Oklahoma Sooners offensive lineman Febechi Nwaiwu (54) celebrates with Oklahoma Sooners running back Xavier Robinson (24) after a touchdown during a college football game between the University of Oklahoma Sooners (OU) and the Ole Miss Rebels at Gaylord Family Ð Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman, Okla., Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025. Ole Miss won 34-26.

Febechi Nwaiwu has been one of the most consistent players on the Oklahoma Sooners' offense. The veteran guard has the highest pass blocking grade in the SEC among guards and the second-highest among all offensive linemen, according to Pro Football Focus. He's allowed just two pressures and hasn't allowed a sack on 345 pass blocking snaps.

10. Deion Burks, WR

Deion Burks is having a good year, even if the ball isn't finding him a bunch. After posting 101 yards in the win over Michigan, Burks has topped 60 yards receiving just once since. That was the loss to Texas. It has more to do with the struggles from quarterback John Mateer than it does Burks, but if Mateer can rediscover his early-season passing success, Burks will emerge as a weapon once again down the stretch. He's No. 8 in the SEC in receptions this season, Oklahoma just hasn't pushed the ball down the field enough.
