A big offseason of change is here for the Colorado State football program.

Jay Norvell was fired as CSU’s coach in October. Jim Mora was hired to take over the program in November.

The coaching change meant a 15-day window for CSU players to enter the transfer portal once Mora’s hire was announced. The “traditional” portal period for college football players (outside of coaching changes) opens Jan. 2.

There will be a lot of player movement at CSU before the spring semester begins.

Here is a look at the Rams from the 2025 roster entering the transfer portal:

Javion Kinnard, running back

Notes: The 5-foot-8 Kinnard showed flashes in his freshman season in 2025. He had 18 catches for 228 yards and a touchdown. Kinnard ran the ball 12 times for 56 yards and averaged 23 yards per punt return, including a 91-yard punt return touchdown. The former three-star recruit out of Tennessee has three seasons of eligibility remaining.

Jaden Landrum, tight end

Notes: The 6-foot-3, 225-pound Landrum completed his redshirt freshman season in 2025. Landrum didn’t appear in any games in two seasons as a Ram. He has three seasons of eligibility remaining.

Justin Marshall, running back

Notes: The 5-foot-10, 190-pound Marshall completed his redshirt sophomore season in 2025. In three seasons at CSU, he carried the ball 260 times for 1,317 yards (5.1 yards per carry) and seven rushing touchdowns. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
