BLOOMINGTON — Indiana football still has plenty of room to add players out of the transfer portal for 2026.
The No. 1 Hoosiers (15-0) are currently at 81 projected scholarships after adding 12 commitments from transfers, but they will likely have additional room to maneuver once the program's top draft prospects announce their future plans after the national title game.
These projections list everyone with eligibility left with the exception of quarterback Fernando Mendoza. He hasn't officially announced his plans, but IU wouldn't have pursued high-profile transfer quarterback Josh Hoover the coaching staff expected him to return.
