TV channel, kickoff time, announcers for Alabama football vs Oklahoma in Week 12

The Alabama Crimson Tide will face their fifth top 25 opponent of the 2025 college football season when the Oklahoma Sooners visit Bryant-Denny Stadium in Week 12 SEC play.

Alabama (8-1 overall, 6-0 SEC) is ranked No. 4 in the US LBM Coaches Poll, as well as the first College Football Playoff rankings, unveiled last Tuesday. The Crimson Tide defeated LSU, 20-9, last Saturday behind a valiant defensive effort from Yhonzae Pierre, LT Overton, leading tackler Deontae Lawson, and others.

The win over LSU was Alabama’s eighth in a row. Coach Kalen DeBoer’s team will learn its updated ranking in the new College Football Playoff rankings Tuesday night beginning at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN.

Oklahoma (7-2) had a bye in Week 11 but rose two spots to No. 10 in the Coaches Poll after two teams that had been ranked ahead of them, BYU and Virginia, lost Saturday. The Sooners are coming off an impressive 33-27 win over the Tennessee Volunteers at Neyland Stadium in their last game.

TV announcers for Alabama vs Oklahoma football game

Ahead of Alabama-Oklahoma, ESPN announced who will have the call of Saturday’s game in Tuscaloosa. For the second straight week, Sean McDonough and Greg McElroy will call the action from the booth at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Molly McGrath will report from the sidelines.

Kickoff for Alabama-Oklahoma is 2:30 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on ABC. It will mark the Crimson Tide’s eighth straight game to air on the “Alphabet Network.”

For McDonough and McElroy, it’s the broadcast pairing’s fourth Alabama game this season. In addition to calling Alabama-LSU last Saturday, the duo previously called the Tide’s 30-14 win over Vanderbilt on Oct. 4, as well as their 37-20 victory over Tennessee in the Third Saturday in October rivalry on Oct. 18.

The duo of McDonough and McElroy is ESPN and ABC’s No. 2 broadcast crew behind Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit.

Alabama football series history vs Oklahoma Sooners

Oklahoma leads the all-time series vs. Alabama, 4-2-1. The Sooners beat the Crimson Tide, 24-3, a year ago in Norman in a loss that would prove fatal to Alabama’s College Football Playoff hopes.

The Sooners will be making just their second trip to Tuscaloosa in program history Saturday. Their only other visit was over 20 years ago when Bob Stoops took the nation’s No. 1 ranked team to Bryant-Denny Stadium for a matchup against unranked Alabama in coach Mike Shula’s first season on Sept. 6, 2003.

Oklahoma won, 20-13, despite a four-quarter fight from overmatched Alabama.

Alabama’s last win over Oklahoma was in the 2018 College Football Playoff semifinals at the Orange Bowl in Miami. Tua Tagovailoa out-dueled Kyler Murray in a 45-34 Alabama victory that sent the Crimson Tide to the national championship game against the Clemson Tigers.
