LSU football’s Mansoor Delane and A.J. Haulcy were named to the PFF All-SEC team, announced Sunday. The pair came to Baton Rouge out of the transfer portal in the spring and gave the defense a boost for one of its best seasons in recent memory.

Delane, a finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award, has already been recognized as a first-team All-American by multiple outlets. His performance put him on the radar of scouts as a potential first-rounder for the 2026 NFL Draft.

PFF’s top-graded SEC cornerback in 2025, Delane finished the regular season with 45 tackles, 13 pass deflections, 11 pass breakups, and two interceptions. He played three seasons at Virginia Tech before transferring to LSU, coming in as a four-star prospect and the No. 2 cornerback in the class, per Rivals’ Industry Rankings.

Haulcy made the All-Big 12 first team with Houston before transferring to LSU as one of the nation’s top safeties. A versatile weapon in defensive coordinator Blake Baker’s system, Haulcy played a lot of man coverage for a safety and could also play in the box.

Haulcy ended the regular season as the No. 2 safety in the SEC and a 58.6 rating when targeted, per PFF. He tallied 88 tackles, seven pass deflections, four pass breakups, three interceptions, and a forced fumble.
