You can now add two more names to former Notre Dame players who will be playing one more game while wearing the Blue and Gold.

Safety Jalen Stroman and wide receiver Will Pauling both accepted invitations to the American Bowl on Saturday. Each of them played just one season in South Bend and were productive. Stroman was a part-time starter, recording 37 tackles, a sack and an interception.

Pauling had much more of an impact, scoring six times while gaining 381-yards on 26 receptions. Both of them have plenty of collegiate experience, which should help them in the NFL draft along and if they aren’t selected, a potential free-agent signing.

We’ll be rooting on both Stroman and Pauling in the American Bowl which will be played on Jan. 22, 2026 and be aired on NFL Network.
