Oregon Ducks football has been a nationally known and recognized product for a long time now, and that was no different in 2025.
When ESPN College GameDay came to Eugene for Week 7 against the Indiana Hoosiers, viewership records were broken. Ditto for late in the season against USC, as the viewership once again was one of the highest for a West Coast GameDay showing.
Fans of Oregon aren’t just resigned to people in the state of Oregon. The brand that the Ducks have built is impressive and spans across the country — making it no surprise that two Oregon games cracked the top 10 of most-viewed games during the 2025 season.
The first comes at No. 10 when the Ducks matched up against the Texas Tech Red Raiders in the Orange Bowl and the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal. To make that even more impressive, the game was played at 9:00 a.m. PST, an early morning wake up for West Coast residents the morning after New Years. 15.9 viewers tuned into that game, a dominant 23-0 victory for the Ducks.
The second game that commanded massive amounts of attention was that Week 7 meeting with the Hoosiers, which reeled in 18.0 million viewers and came in at No. 7 on the list.

It’s worth pointing out that that matchup was before Indiana had become what they were: national title contenders. Rather, this mid-season bout had the established Ducks, who last time out had beaten Penn State in double overtime, as a double digit favorite against the upstart Hoosiers.
Unfortunately for Oregon, it was the first of two losses to Indiana last season and was the point in which the Hoosiers revealed themselves as bona-fide title contenders.
Despite that, expect no different in terms of popularity of Oregon games in 2026, as quarterback Dante Moore and a strong nucleus of returners will have television networks clamoring to air the Ducks.
