Two schools reportedly emerge as 'teams to watch' for MSU transfer WR Nick Marsh

There are a pair of teams that have reportedly emerged in the battle for Michigan State football transfer wide receiver Nick Marsh.

Ryan Fravel of the Week 0 Podcast posted on social media that two schools have emerged as “teams to watch” for the former Spartans star wide receiver. Those two teams are Notre Dame and LSU. Up until this point, there hasn’t been much indication on which schools were showing interest in Marsh — who is rated as one of the top available prospects in the transfer portal.

The transfer portal is set to open on January 2, but reports of Marsh intending to enter the portal surfaced shortly after the season wrapped up. Marsh was a former four-star prospect from River Rogue, Mich. and has been arguably the Spartans’ most talented wide receiver the past two seasons. In his two years at Michigan State, Marsh recorded 100 receptions for 1,311 yards and nine touchdowns.

Michigan State is set to play at Notre Dame next fall so there’s a chance we will see Marsh playing against his former team should he join the Fighting Irish. That matchup between Michigan State and Notre Dame is scheduled for September 19.

We will have to keep an eye on where Marsh ends up when the portal officially opens later this week. But for now, it sounds like we know two teams to keep an eye for the Spartans’ former star wide receiver.
