UC Bearcats football cancels Spring Showcase due to weather forecast

After numerous good weather days, one projected day of inclement weather has canceled the Cincinnati Bearcats football Spring Showcase scheduled for noon Saturday, April 18. The Bearcats did get in one scrimmage at Nippert Stadium on April 10.

Cincinnati Football has announced that Saturday’s Spring Showcase, presented by Taste of Cincinnati, has been CANCELED due to expected inclement weather.

At this time, the team plans to host a fan fest event in August, where fans can meet their favorite players, get autographs, and more!Prepaid parking passes for Saturday’s Spring Showcase will be refunded to purchasers in the coming days.

The Bearcats will be holding a closed practice at Sheakley Indoor Performance Facility and The Enquirer will have the event covered. The Weather Channel forecast calls for showers and thunderstorms with the potential for severe thunderstorms. The chance of rain is 80%.

This coming week, Bearcats Jake Golday, Joe Royer, Jeff Caldwell, Cyrus Allen, Dontay Corleone and others could hear their names called in the NFL Draft.
