Capping a busy stretch of visits to Chapel Hill, North Carolina landed its first pledge from the opening spotlight official visit weekend late Sunday night.

Goodyear (Ariz.) Millennium offensive lineman Lauifi Tosi committed to the Tar Heels, announcing his decision on Instagram.

"100 percent committed!!!" Tosi posted.

Tosi (6-foot-4, 325 pounds) becomes the first offensive lineman in UNC’s 2027 class. He is a three-star prospect according to Rivals, ranked No. 120 among interior offensive linemen and No. 31 overall in Arizona. He is currently unranked by 247Sports and ESPN.

Other schools in the mix for Tosi included Eastern Michigan, Idaho and Sacramento State.

With Tosi on board, UNC now has seven commitments in the 2027 class.
